Google thinks you want to know how to impeach a president

And how to move to Canada.

Weren’t happy with Donald Trump’s surprise win in the U.S. presidential election? You have lots of company, according to Google’s search prediction feature.

If you type “how to” into Google right now, the search engine’s first two guesses at what you are searching for are related to the Trump victory:

“How to move to Canada,” followed by “How to impeach a president.”

According to a Google support page, these search predictions are based on “what other people are searching for, including Trending stories. Trending stories are popular topics in your area that change throughout the day.” (Indeed, Canada’s immigration website crashed this week in the wake of the election results.)

Google search predictions can also be based on your past searches if you have a special feature turned on. I don’t.
